The invitation
In 2025, Mendoza became Argentina's third designated City of Happiness in a year-long international wellbeing tour that began in Kolkata. Thousands from Spain, Mexico, Chile, the United States, the Dominican Republic and beyond joined Argentine officials, entrepreneurs, educators and activists in the foothills of the Andes. In 2026, we return.
The theme
We treat happiness not as a fleeting emotion but as a renewable resource — something that can heal communities and ecosystems by renewing how we live and work together. Regenerative Happiness grows stronger as it moves forward. Each city builds on the last, learning, adapting and inspiring the next.
The city
Recently crowned the most favourable capital city to live in Argentina, Mendoza's tree-lined streets, plazas and vineyards provide an uplifting setting for serious conversations about happiness. Mornings begin with open-air meditation. Days move between the Sheraton Mendoza and hands-on JoyShops across town. Evenings end in a giant círculo de felicidad.

Experiential workshops from Mexico's Emotional Intelligence Institute, active-listening Escuchatoria labs, and body-awareness sessions to reconnect with self before leading others.
Lessons from the world's longest-lived communities as a roadmap to more fulfilling lives — braided with Bhutan's Gross National Happiness framework and new economies of transition.
Artistic finale by local musicians and dancers, a guided experience on hacking the brain with gratitude, and a closing circle where attendees form working groups to carry the movement home.
