Post-Traumatic Growth Certification
A four-month professional training to understand trauma from a perspective of healing, integration and growth.
Based on the five-stage model developed by Dra. Edith Shiro.
Understanding trauma from a new perspective
More and more professionals find themselves accompanying people who have lived through difficult or traumatic experiences.
Although today there is greater knowledge about the impact of trauma on the mind and body, clear models are often missing to help us understand how people can move beyond survival and rebuild meaning in their lives.
The Post-Traumatic Growth approach proposes that, with the right accompaniment, difficult experiences can also become an opportunity to develop greater awareness, resilience and purpose.
This certification offers a framework to understand that process and accompany it professionally.
What this programme is
This deep and transformative programme includes multiple lessons, live sessions, spaces for accompaniment and a step-by-step guide to integrating post-traumatic growth into professional practice.
Throughout the programme, participants will explore practical tools and contemporary approaches to understand, accompany and facilitate processes of healing and transformation. The content addresses key themes such as the integration of trauma, resilience, reconnection with a sense of meaning in life and human development from a conscious perspective.
Based on the five-stage model developed by Dra. Edith Shiro, this certification offers a clear, deep and applicable framework for accompanying others in their process of post-traumatic growth.
Programme endorsed by the World Happiness Foundation and the World Happiness Academy.

How the programme is lived
This programme is not designed as purely theoretical learning.
It is a formative process that combines conceptual understanding, professional practice and spaces for reflection that make it possible to integrate the post-traumatic growth model into work with people.
Training sessions
Gatherings where the foundations of trauma and post-traumatic growth are presented, together with tools and conceptual frameworks developed by Dra. Edith Shiro.
The sessions make it possible to understand the model in depth and explore its application in different professional contexts.
Sessions are recorded for later reference.
Practical application
Throughout the programme, participants will work with tools and exercises that make it possible to apply the post-traumatic growth model in therapeutic, educational and human-accompaniment contexts.
The aim is to integrate the learning into professional practice.
Spaces for reflection and integration
The programme includes moments dedicated to personal and professional reflection, which allow a deeper understanding of the process of healing and growth after difficult experiences.
These spaces support a deeper integration of the model.
Mentoring and accompaniment
Participants will have access to spaces for mentoring and dialogue during the training process, including the possibility of one-to-one meetings with Dra. Edith Shiro to talk about applying the model and the experiences that arise during the learning.
Learning community
During the certification, participants will be part of an international community of professionals interested in understanding trauma from a perspective of healing and growth.
This space makes it possible to exchange experiences, learning and reflections with colleagues who share the same professional interest.
