This week
The Bestowal has been with the program since Level 1 Week 12. At Level 3, in the closing weeks, the master coach engages the Bestowal at scale — bestowing on cohorts, on organizations, on movements, not just on individuals. This is one of the rarest master capacities. Few coaches develop it. Those who do create disproportionate influence in the field.
Contemplative practice of the week
The Master Bestowal
Thirty minutes daily. Sit. Establish the witness. Bring to mind your identified field — the profession, organization, movement, or generation you are bestowing on. Sit with the field. Hold the bestowal posture for the entire field — not for individuals within it, but for the field as a whole. Listen for what wants to be named. Master coaches who deliver Bestowals at scale do this practice for months before they speak or write the Bestowal publicly. The Bestowal that emerges is not constructed. It has been received.

Session architecture
- Hour 1 — The Bestowal at scale. Lead Instructor teaches the categorical move from individual to field-level Bestowal. Examples from the lineage and from other fields.
- Hour 2 — Field identification. Each student identifies a field they are positioned to bestow on — a specific profession, an organization, a movement, a generation, a community. The field is articulated specifically.
- Hour 3 — The Bestowal practicum. Each student writes a 200-word Bestowal on their identified field — what is becoming there, what wants to be named. The Bestowals are read aloud. Cohort listens for what landed.
- Hour 4 — The discipline of the public bestowal. A teaching on the courage required to deliver Bestowals publicly — and the discernment about when, where, how. Master coaches who do this work develop the discernment over years.
