Scope

Empirical studies, systematic and narrative reviews, measurement instruments, datasets, policy reports and theoretical work — from psychology, contemplative science, education, public policy, economics of wellbeing and adjacent fields. Work in Spanish is welcome alongside English.

What a submission needs

  • A title, abstract of up to 300 words, and keywords.
  • Full author details: given name, surname, ORCID iD, and affiliation for each author.
  • A declaration of financial and intellectual conflicts of interest.
  • A clear statement of limitations, and of what the work does not claim.
  • Data and code availability, where the work is empirical.
  • Agreement to publish open access under CC BY 4.0, or a stated alternative licence.

How review works

  1. 1 · Editorial reading

The Lab's editors check scope, integrity and completeness, and confirm the declarations.

  2. 2 · Peer or expert review

Where the field requires it, the work goes to external reviewers. Reviewer comments come back to the author with a decision.

  3. 3 · Revision and acceptance

The author revises; the editors confirm the record is accurate, including every citation.

  4. 4 · DOI registration

On publication the work receives a DOI on the Foundation's prefix, 10.68220, registered with Crossref and resolving to a permanent landing page on this site.

Licence and rights

Authors keep copyright. The Lab publishes under CC BY 4.0 unless a different licence is agreed in writing, so the work can be read, translated and built upon anywhere with attribution.
