In 2025, the Ciudad de Mendoza was designated a City of Happiness — Argentina's third that year — within the World Happiness Foundation's year-long worldwide tour that began in Kolkata. The Foundation declared Mendoza Argentina's Capital Nacional de la Felicidad.
